That's pretty much describing a flaw in society, where if someone wants to be recognized, they have to be immortalized by the media, but to get there, extreme measures must be taken. The song itself is about the Grimm's brothers story Hansel and Gretel (if you've seen the music video.) It basically shows how these fairy tales are actually very dark and morbid (when looked at objectively) even though they're masquaraded as children's stories. Most of these stories involve crimes that in the real world would guarantee life in prison or another punishment of that extremity, and how America teaches their children these stories but go into shock when the kids grow up and act out the crimes in the real world, blaming everything else but the upbringing the children received.

Also, the 'T' Marilyn Manson wears during the Holywood era (and on your signature) represents the Tau cross, symbolic of his innoncence and the unjust and inaccurate blames laid on him. The whole album was a retaliation against the media.

, eventually someone on this forum actually knows about Manson, most people just think he's some grotesque singer famous for his music. Although it's not just his music that is amazing. I for one like him for How his song actually mean something unlike most bands today. Also if you have ever heard or read his speeches, they are actually amazing. Also his artwork is amazing too. I know im using the word amazing too much, but he just is. .

Also Im pretty sure the Nobodies was about the High school Massarce, as on his DVD it explains what most of the songs / videos are about and it says that the massarce did influence some of the lyrics, also about what you wrote above. Therefore resulting in him going to court, which I think was pathetic.
