Put simply... YES you do. and it costs a bloody lot.
Although thats in the UK, in the US you can avoid it under small busness ledgislation, although this requres a little effort on the user part. Other conutrys im not 100% on, so its best to look up the legiation in the contary your useing, before you try.

It's a licence to broadcast the music. If you buy a piece of music it does not mean you can do whatever you like with it. The music is still 'owned' by the artist/record label that created it. Originally Posted by Snail
