Can't believe Birmingham sold him 6mil as well. He's a great centreback and plays great all round for the team (well he did) West ham finally snapped him up for 6m and a possible 7.5m for appearances :s I think he left us because he wants to play in the premiership so he can get in the england squad but tbh i thnk blues are coming up this season and west ham may go down so bad decision there for matty but his contract expired at end of season and he wanted to leave anyway so good luck

Btw I think if blues do get in premiership England should look at Gary mcsheffery hes a great left footed played who plays great on wing and up front

i dont think hes good enough just yet, he still has to prove himself in the prem. im surprised he didnt stick it out at birmingham..
