it's such a selfish compromise
self indulgent, useless, bunch of lies.
They aren't riding blinks success. Sure they've got a lot of fans from blink fans but hell that's expected. They barely ever want to talk about Blink because it comes up with talk of the 'hiatus' and that's bad memories. They don't want to sound like blink and they don't really want to talk about blink either - so I don't see where you're getting this from. Hell you've liked bands who have split & then the singer has made a new band, so surely that would be "riding on the success" of the previous band in your theory. Hell Blink were one of a kind really, but won't be back.Actually my dislike of +44 has nothing to do with genre, my problem is that they are a weak band who are riding blink-182's success. I was a huge blink fan so when Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker came back with this lame shell of a band I was obviously going to be disappointed.
Or, in an ideal world, yah I love +44 because I love it when weak, unoriginal bands ride a previously good band's former success and reputation and kill off the fun that was originally involved in the good band in the first place.
Rich - I love +44 aswellAlso bad the female is no longer in it - she had a great voice.

i hate +44. bring back blink.
To be honest I prefer Angels and Airwaves to plus 44, not that anyone has to choose between the two.
But plus 44 seem a bit conformist to me, AVA are different. I'm sure they're still good live!
i agree, most of thier songs are too similar but they have a few origional ones, like animals - i love that song.
