    Default Depression help.

Kay, I need some help for my depression.
Does anyone know of any pills, or anything else that works to help depression?
I've tried some pills, but thoughts of death and suicide were all that came out of that.
I've had depression for about 7 years, and I can't seem to stick with a girlfriend.
Any help is needed, and +Rep to people who are nice

Try having a look at some self hypnosis sites. There should be some hypnosis MP3s that will help. They may cost a bit tho. Good luck!

You know depression can be cured without pills, cos pills suck put it that way. You want to do something for yourself, arrange a small holiday with mates like that... that helps for a week or two.
The problem is with depression, alot of people begin to lift out of it and some bad things will happen but all at the same time. You gotta keep your head high, and hang around with mates, preferbly funny ones? And laugh and joke about alot of rubbish.

You can't just get out of depression, if you've been officially diagnosed with it, then you cant just 'SNAP OUT OF IT' or 'CHEER UP', its an illness which effects your brain chemicals, some people are only depressed, being diagnosed with depression and being told you have got this illness, thats completely different.

If you have been diagnosed with depession, you should be on anti-depressents, if not, and just suspect, go to your GP.

(Yeah yeah, I know I said I have left, but oh well, couldnt resist!)

Couldnt agree more, you cant just snap out of it, its an illness as is e.g cancer and people cant just get rid of that either.

Pill's won't get rid of the problems which are causing your depression, they just make you feel happy. You should find someone who can help you, and talk to someone about it instead of taking pills & trying to kill yourself. Beleive me, i'm in the same situation and i want to go and do loads of stuff to stop it, but i'm trying not to. Just talk to someone about your problems, and see if they can't help you in someway, it beats taking your own life or taking pills to try and get rid of it.

Go to your GP. They will sort you out.

You need to be diagnosed with depression. For all you know you could just be having a bit of town time [ok quite a lot]

But get an official diagnosis and then the medical profession will help you all they can
