    Half an inch of snow, The 3rd most improved school in the UK according to the goverenment wouldn't close for that

    Schools closed tomorrow in Buckinghamshire:
    Alfriston School 09 February 2007 Severe weather, unsafe to transport pupils
    Aylesbury Grammar School 09 February 2007 All school transport cancelled by Bucks County Council because of expected bad road conditions, so the school is closed on Friday 9th February
    Aylesbury Grammar School 09 February 2007 Because of the closure of the schools, the AGS/AHS Year 7 & 8 disco on 9th February is postponed - a revised date will be announced after half term.
    Aylesbury High School 09 February 2007 We will be closed on Friday 9th February due to the cancellation of the home to school transport.
    Beaconsfield High School 09 February 2007 Bucks LA have cancelled transport due to forecasted icy roads. School Closed.
    Beaconsfield School 09 February 2007 All school transport cancelled by Bucks County Council because of expected bad road conditions, so the school is closed on Friday 9th February. The safety of students and staff is our main concern. We will re-open on Monday February 19 February.
    Bell Lane Combined School 09 February 2007 Teaching staff had great difficulty getting in to school today due to the effect of adverse weather conditions on the roads. We have checked with MET office and a freeze is expected tonight which added to current conditions will make roads even more hazardous.In addition Bucks County Council have cancelled all pupil transport for friday which affects 20% of our pupils. We need to ensure the safety of staff and pupils and have therefore taken the decision to close on Friday and will resume after half term on Tuesday 20th February.Sorry for any inconvenience.

    John Colet School 09 February 2007 Due to home to school transport being cancelled and the MET Office forecast of ice, the school will be closed on Friday 9 February. The ski trip will leave on schedule on Sunday morning. The rescheduled Into the Sixth Evening will take place on Thursday 22 February at 7pm.

    Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School 09 February 2007 County bus services cancelled by BCC - 50% of students use these, plus another 20% travel via various means from outside Aylesbury.
