He just so happened to be a billionaire
she has one kid (4 yo) and decides to carry on doing drugs and overdoses.

The kid should of been put up for adoption when she was born.

i doubt the man was stupid, he obviously knew she was after his money, and maybe he decided having some companionship at the end of his life was worth giving her that money.

she could have made the end of his life a lot happier than it would have been.
