Actually blu ray is failing due to lack of support and HD DVD is taking over [360 has a hd dvd add on]. Also $600 is £308.439 right now!

Well, I never really thought about the stats, UMDs did bad too 0.o

But, Sony's blu-ray is much better than the HD-DVD. In storage wise anyway. And who is HDDVD made by? Toshiba or something like that? Blu-rays were like 30-40% designed for gaming but the HD-DVDs were inly sponsored by Microsoft because of the need to fight with Sony. Microsoft released the Xbox 360 a bit too early. I don't think it is TRULY next gen. In terms of pwnage neways.

But the blu ray is the problem that stopped the PS3 being launched in europe on Day 1.

I still believe in Sony!

Im sure they did, they just decided to ignore it just because they can but imo its one step too far. HD DVD is winning because its much cheaper eg The chapest blu ray player is in the ps3 yet you can get a hd dvd add on for the 360 for £100

Me ps3's are great! but sony sucks and the price is too high i think famileys with good jobs get them for there child.......
