You should worry about it, thats the idea, but you're not going to go to jail. My little brother vandalised a load of peoples property and smashed someones car up that he thought was abandoned. He should have been put to jail in my opnion coz hes an annoying little bugger, but he got a warning and about an hours time in jail to 'scare' him. He was then let out and warned not to do it again. He also was banned from carrying anything that he could mark things with on him when hes out such as pencils, pens and spray cans. Our local cop stops him every now and then to check he hasnt broken this promise.

Stealing sweets is not really as bad so you may find you are banned from these shops. However if the shop owners decide to press charges, you could have to pay fines or community work i would guess.
