I speak from experience in domain selling here btw (letter)(number)(letter).(sld).uk don't tend to be work anything. This is because their are barely any possibilities for marketing - after all what does y3d mean? To have any chance of getting a good price, you'll need to build up the brand.

On the other hand, if you had a 3 character .com domain, that would be worth something.
