Penis Problem

Hey, by the way you describe it, it's normal.

I learnt about this in Biology when I was in year 10 about four years ago now lol. During pregnancy when a male featus develops the penis the foreskin is fused (attached) to the glans of the penis because they share a mucous layer (which is essentially a lining protecting an area of the body).

When a baby is born the foreskin is usually still fused to the glans of the penis. As a boy grows up the foreskin and the glans naturally seperate from one another. It usually finishes before you are eighteen (average age it finishes is about thirteen years). Of course for some people it will occur later, for some it will occur earlier.

This why circumstician on babies/young people can sometimes be the subject of very controversial debate; because the foreskin is most likely still fused onto the glans of the penis and therefore the foreskin has to be seperated from the glans as well as cut away.

Because you're worried about it, I really would visit your doctor if I were you, just for reassurance more than anything.
