I'm mining alot recently and I have noticed this one thing mining on Runescape! You can mine all day and not get a rock that will damage your pick axe.. but if your mining but at the same time doing something else (I.E looking at forums, watching tv or (for the more lonely, twisted people out there) pleasuring yourself over the fact that you have high rs skills, your pickaxe will get damged!

I click on the iron and go to forums, turn to look at the TV or type something to someone on msn and my axe is broken! It's not the money, Usually i have a few broken ones in bank and fix them all together but going all the way down to Nurmof is a bit of a mess about, it's like a short quest or.. a punishment for not being totally focused on the excitement of mining on Rune Scape.

thats what randoms do, stop afk trainers and autoers, looking at forums is considered afk training (which i am currently doing :p)

yeah, its a "bannable" offence. I'm sure they wont ban you for it but you never know. (PS im doing it too lol)

I don't afk train tbh.. I flick through stuff or turn to tv for less than a few mins.. and i hate sounds on rs too
