i'm laughing at the people who are saying concentrate on your education at 13. you go to school to have a laugh with mates and 'try' find a girlfriend at that age. Sure gel your hair do whatever dress to impress it can only increase your chances coz as far as i'm aware of 13 year olds aren't looking for deep meaningful relationships, they're looking for someone fit to get off with. You're not alone but theres no harm trying eh

I havent had a girlfriend for 4 years this valentines day. Im 13 and I dont think its normal. Please, How can a get a girl. What do they like, and what should I look like? Should I gel my hair, or anything to make them like me. I bath once a day, and wouldnt call myself *ugly*. Please, all girls and boys, help me. Girls tell me what girls like, and boys tell me what they think I should do, and if you have had girlfriends and still do, what do you look like? Dont go into detail, just like do you gel your hair or grow it? Also what personality should I have?

First off, 13 is young. You had a girlfriend when you were 9? I didnt even know the difference between boys and girls when I was 9.
Second, all girls are different. Your problem is youre waiting. Dont wait for something to happen, make it happen. Go out and meet people

but don't worry, and do not change the way you are just to suit a girl. be yourself. like, don't come over too strong, play hard to get. just go with the flow. go out and meet people, don't sit around waiting because when you want something you don't get it. when you don't care and just have fun someone comes along.

10+??? u mad? most of the boys them ages act like lil wannabe gangsters and think they are all bad and act like idiots, whilst the girls still playing with their dolls and acting young, i mean i dont act "immature" and im nearly 13 but many people around me at school do, so i would say 13-14+

Year 10 is 14-15. So 15+ people aren't mature enough but 13 year olds are. Riiight.

And yes, it shouldn't all be about looks. However making a little effort to make yourself look nice will probably improve your confidence around people you like and it'll shine through. I know personally I feel great when I've done my hair and make up and I'm wearing a pretty dress. I like guys who have made a bit of an effort - ironed, washed clothes. Smells nice. Groomed. (however don't go over the top and spend hours in front of the mirror straightening your hair, thats our job )

Try to be aproachable and friendly. Once you have female friends (if you don't already of course) you can flirt with them, find shared interests, use these as an excuse to casually suggest you do something together. (like cinema, a concert etc) If it went well, suggest something again. If you feel chemistry in a moment, you could move in for a kiss.
