I never said that "/ If you have no control of what you see, that's a different story. This is when someone says "I know a gay person." You paint a mental image of two guys have sex menas you either think sex is everything or secretly find gay sex a turn on, but discusted at the same time (passion and repressions).

Back to seeing a sexual seen of a homosexual nature, you can just look away. Why you're watching a film anyway if you're not gay is beyond me. Unless it is a really good film with a gay story to the side. or the story around it is interesting. In Film Studies, we have watched films which have 2 guys kissing. But that's hardly anything, I just watch and think "Oh dear, they're going to get attacked for sure" because in the film, they're seen as dirty by the local 60s chav culture. Or 80s, I'm not sure.

When someone talks about gay people. I normally think "Oh, someone who is attracted to men" rather than "Oh, ******** another guy."

A film doesnt have to be based around gays to have a gay scene in... like in shameless it makes u feel uncomfortable when there is a scene of 2 guys kissing.. thats what blinkey is trying to say but u either didnt understand or to arrogant to accept his point

No, because what BL!NKEY said wasn't based anywhere near what I said. Also, if it has a gay scene, then obviously it has something to do with gays,. Also, taking your advice, you are obviously too ignorant to read. I said it could have a gay story to the side. Meaning a gay relationship could be a tiny aspect of EastEnders for example. Obviously you don't understand films or TV shows even "/

PS. This keyboard is frustrating to use. I keep missing letters

having to watch a gay film has nothing to do with word of mouth, or painting a mental image when someone talks about gays. Twit. You cannot have a film do what you want, you cannot control a film. But you can control your own mind.

I dont get what ur trying to point out with mental images
    are u gay?? (just wondering)
cos.. if u are and u and ur parents were watching a film and there was a gay scene it would prob make u feel uncomfortable
its the same with straight people if they were watching a film on their own they would feel uncomfortable

If someone was talking about a gay person or persons, you would have different ideas to associate with them. If you think immediately of gay sex, then you're either sick in the mind if that's what you think of when someone mentions anything about gay people, or you have this deep liking for gay sex, but you are too affraid to show or don't really like it. A deep passion for gay sex.

Where did films comes from? I was discussing homosexuality as a thought and representation and how you relate these with the idea of gay. A personal response. For example, when people talk about gay people infront of me, I immediately think "Ah, someone who prefers men to women." NOT "Someone who has sex with men." Because I have been brought up to actually know that sex isn't a big deal, it's the relationship side.

If you watch a film, you are having the representation of homosexuality being drawn out infront of you, rather than you make your own idea of it. Which is where BL!NKEY confused my argument with something not similar "/

Hmm the last movie I watched was 300. A great movie with no gay story to the side.

But there is a scene stuck in with two girls making out in the kings room.

Not saying that the scene makes me feel uncomfortable but if someone watched it and felt weird watching it I dont see how that relates to them being unsure about their sexuality.

    Please don't be stupid.

People are born to there race/natural skin colour but people chose to be gay.

SO it is not ok to be racist, but ok to be anti-gay.
