PS3 Launch Info

Just because the PS3 hasn't sold out... doesn't mean its selling less. Sony shipped 6 million units to Europe. No wonder they havn't sold out.. YET.

I would just like to point out I do not have a ps3 and have no plans to get one/.

6 Million units to the whole of Europe, some stores are hardly selling them at all, xbox 360 probably had about the same amount in Europe and almost every store sold out within 24 Hours, I'd say they're selling them pretty slowly

i hate when people compare wiis & 360 to ps3 or visa versa
its like comparing a pontaic solistice and a ferrari
there both good cars / consoles , but ones alittle better and worth alot more.

um. the PS3 is far too expensive but i think the PS3 will catch up in about 18 months and be on par with (a then ageing) 360.

What cars do you think sell more? Vauxhall Astras or Fearris (sp?) Most probably Vauxhalls, because they are cheaper. Bust does that mean they are better? NO! It just means more people buy them because they are cheap and affordable.

The same thing is happening with the PS3. The PS3 is expensive, and thats because you are buying one heck of a powerful machine. Same with cars, with a Fearri, you pay more because its more powerful, and overall a better car.

The ps3 is the fastest but not neccesarily the best eg some fast cars have very poor handleing etc.
