Although the question isn't addressed towards me when we hire Moderators we take in to account other factors than how many posts they've reported.

For example the person's past behaviour and how they behave with people on the Forum (i.e. posts) and generally what kind of person they are. Most important we look at their past behaviour including whether members have been banned or are cautioned/have been cautioned in the past.

When Moderation Applications are open you apply with reasons why etc, Seacat or someone else PM'S you and sets up an interview, once you've done that you either get accepted as trialist or not, once trial is up you either pass or don't pass. This is what happened to me anyways

think they just check for any mega bad posts and any helpful posts, they dont check through every single post you've ever made =)
