No, when the Sun is in the early stages of the RG phase, it's mass will decrease, therefore decreasing the gravity with it.

The distance between the Earth and the Sun at this moment of time is 1AU.

The Sun will increase to about 0.99AU, but the Earth's orbit will be taken to 1.7AU due to the weakened gravity.

Basically, Mercury will get 'swallowed' but Venus onwards will escape the fate.

And after it goes to a Red Giant it becomes a White Dwarf for several billion years not a black hole.

The sun currenly has a diamiter of around 1,390,000km, when it gos super nova that will be more like 139,000,000, earth is 149,600,000 km away from the sun in its present orbit, with a more elliptical orbit, the planet will come closer at some points to the sun than in its present orbit, the change will aslo increase the rate earth is sucked towards the sun. It seems logical to me to assume it wouldn't take that long for the orbit to deterate and the sun to simply be swallowed up before the sun finaly burns up and collapses in to a white drawf "/
