Well ok here goes lol...

Well I've been friends with this girl for nearly four years now. We went to a stage were we went really close and then we fell out, now we're really close again.

Shes pretty and all and I'm a little confused. I don't know if I like her and want to take things further with her or not. Lately we went to a party together, had a laugh and that brought us closer together but I ain't too sure. We got pictures together and we've been getting pictures from years ago and seeing how much we've changed. We keep bringing past times up too and laugh about them and things so I don't know if there's any signal that she likes me more than she's saying she does.

Another problem is that she likes this other lad. She says she likes me a little bit and we've brought our feeling up a few times and I've said I like her and she said she likes me but I think I like her more. But also this other lad she likes she cant stop talking about him and shes only started liking him recently.

What I was planning on doing was waiting another year or so let this lad she likes phase pass and things. Maybe in another year or two (I'm 13 now) she might like me more and things might happen.

I'm just a little confused and don't know what to do. I like her more than she likes me, she like someone else, yet I'm getting mixed feeling from here. Do I wait a year or two? Do I do anything at all? Do I say anything to hint that I like her? I just need advice. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

Like the good old saying goes; if it isn't broke, dont fix it. You seem to have made your mind up on the route you are going to take. It seems to me to be the most sensable route to take and see how things between you and her go as you both start to mature.

On the other hand you have to ask yourself is that if you do go ahead and make your 'move' would it come between you two as friends. Would you rather lose a close friend for something more?

Wait for a year.

The girl you like will make her mind up about who she likes and even if she doesn't choose you in the end, there are plenty more fish in the sea!

Rofl at the wait a year bit. You're going to wait a year for a girl you think may one day like you? Go out and get a bit yourself, if she really likes you that will start to nag at her and she might realise she wants you.
