Oh dear, you follow a book "/ I might aswell follow Harry Potter and believe he can hover large objects and kill the forces of evil.

Proof please Or were you actually being serious that a book is the truth?

I think the Earth has many options for dying:
    1) A nearby star goes supernova, wiping us out
    2) We are inevitably sucked into a blackhole, OR when one of the tiny blackholes in the core expands the Earth will basically implode

As well as solar storms, destruction of the atmosphere, being hit by space objects, breakdown of the ecosystem etc. etc.

I believe in the Bible but I know a lot of it is edited and made up to favour some. The Bible is heavily relied on for its geographical descriptions, they're always finding evidence of temples and palaces etc. found in the old testament.

So that's all it is good for really? A pictureless story book with an Atlas attached?

Possibly, but I think it's just as good a theory as random matter appearing out of nowhere and forming a big bang thus creating the universe.

There might aswell be an opposing theory to Science, so religion can have it. It just seems a bit less likely that the world was created by something amazing like God and nothing else amazing has happened.
