    It stopped about 45 minutes after I posted.

    I think it was faulty. My MSN started going crazy with people going "OMG CAN YOU HEAR THAT", but im still alive so im guessing nobody was bombing

    They use them at Rugby/Football games, well a similar sound.

    Everytime they go off you hear a dozen people yell 'The Germans are coming'.
    Doubt everything, even this.

    Depends if you're near it. It's fixed to the bell tower so not that loud because it's high up

    We get very low Hercules flying over our house, we have Lancaster Bombers fly over, and we get to see many free Red Arrow Air shows, as the airfield is like 1 mile away,
