
Yes that is very true, it is amazing how nothing has been done yet. It seems even MAD cannot see the truth.Well if it was a real company with a vote of no confidence in the managing director and 11 out of 14 voted "No confidence" with 3 abstentions then the managing director would be out. No arguement. This is Habbox though and despite all my loyalty, hardwork and hopes that he would see the light, he never could. Even faced with 85% of his staff telling him this, he couldn't. In fact a blind man can see more than he can on staff management. But as he says 'A Forum's Manager's job is not to be popular' it is to get the work done. Cue my Dicken's novel or asian sweatshop article
The other difficulty is that Sierk is reliant on somebody technical and quite honesly doesn't know how he runs the forum because superficially Mad can come over as quite a caring person and Sierk is not really involved from day -to-day. I think it is a case of Mad having Sierk over a barrel, figuratively speaking.
Anyway, Garion, I am truly sorry that you have also chosen to resign because
you were an incredible Smod and I know that the forum members will miss you terribly.
You knew I was going to resign if you went, and I am confident that was the right choice!

Catzsy's leave has been a horrible loss to this forum. This forum was getting bad enough as it was. now for the forum, i think that it all started with the whole samo, holoboy thing. When undertaker got fired it was a death sentance from there

I'd like to hear Sierk's view on this.
There is nothing wrong with MAD's management of the forum, he will not be sacked.
MAD spends a lot of time dealing with both staff and technical issues on the forum, and neither are below the standard that should be expected from him. The forums are normally fully moderated, and the moderators who he hires are hired fairly. The moderation rules that only Forum Moderators can see are concise and comprehensive, something which MAD done with the help of the Forum Mods. There are many new systems put in place by MAD to make it both simpler for mods to deal with things, however also there has been an increase in "paperwork" for mods.
Allowing MAD to run the staff, moderation and technical side of the forum is crucial - because it is a combination of all 3 which has led to this improved system for the moderators.
MAD is grateful to his staff, as much as any other manager is and as much as I think any manager needs to be (and since our staff are volunteers it is important to show we're grateful).
It is important that staff follow our hierachy. They must accept that the lowest rank in their dept., will have less influence on the forum but can still contribute. Higher ranks have more influence.
On Habbox we allow staff to express their opinions, just like many other organisations allow staff to express their opinions. However, complete insubordination is simply not allowed because it would make it impossible for us to run Habbox.
I honestly believe that MAD has done nothing wrong which deserves all of this fuss. This has simply happened because some staff (or ex-staff) are acting out of their place and stirring things up.
In real life you will not be fired for expressing your opinion. You will be fired for calling for your manager to be fired.
It is important that you know, MAD will absolutely not be fired because he does not deserve to be fired or demoted because he has done nothing wrong.
If you want to carry on protesting and stirring things up then go ahead (as long as it's within the rules), however I really think you should listen to me saying that he does not deserve it.
