This guy was on street patrol in Iraq and as he rounded a corner, an insurgent shot him in the chest from just a few feet away. Fortunately, the bullet hit his iPod and was slowed down enough that it didn't penetrate his body armor and he was unwounded. Apparently an engineer at Apple caught wind of the story and is trying to help the guy get a new iPod.
