Uh, title says str pure...

Well theres 2 kinds of succesfull str pure:
Initiate pure
Monk Robe pure

You will need to raise prayer up to use smite (or if non member p melee) and raise atk up to use whip or to use a rune scimmy.

P2P equipinit pure)
Full initiate
whip
DD++ (invo)

F2P equipmonk robe)
monks robes
rune scimitar
rune 2h (in invo)

you can add jewllery as you like but thats the general idea. (you will need 20 defence for init pure though)
