Thats my theory, I reckon Jack may even kill him, maybe by accident but Kate still might hate/resent him for it.

1)

Jack accidently shoots Sawyer.

Jack and Kate is never gonna happen. Kate likes Sawyer and Jack likes Juillet. Doesn't Jack know Kate saw him and Juilet kiss :s ... cos 2 minutes later, he goes to kate "I am in love with you Kate". Weird.

plus if jack kills him then there'll be no love for kate as she would of loved sawyer but he's gone and jacks gone and killed him.

I think the john lantham thing is true though.
we have 3 more series to find him out but it could be john locke as he got maybe the others to kill them or something but when he and them lot left island possibly he changed his last name to 'Lantham' but died soon after.
plus i think there in thwe making of series4 atm.
the series4 promos come out like just a few months before it starts.

Both those theories could be true, and I really think that's what might end up happening.
As for the bold bit, Jack I believe said "Because I love you" as a reason that he was sticking up for Sawyer's actions towards Kate. 'I love you' and 'I'm in love with you' are completely different, one's friendly the other is much deeper. Or at least that was the way I saw it...
I think Jack was once 'in love' with Kate, but he seems to be more into Juliet since she changed sides, so I think the 'I love you' was more of a love from a friend with reassurance. Might just be me over analysing but meh..

I think the flash forward which we saw was a possible future, not THE FUTURE as Jack's dad is dead. Maybe that future was destroyed when Jack's dad died ... but that would mean Jack couldnt have been on that damn plane.

The producers said that two main characters die in the finale. One being charlie, was the second one Patchy? I bet he isnt dead, he just doesnt seem to die. Moron.

I think the Jack and Kate thing could have been a flashback. Maybe they have been on the island before? Maybe they are pretending they didnt know each other before they met on the island. But then why did they want to go back? If it was a flashback, then why was Jack desperate to go back to real life in the submarine?

I just hope the writers can pull this off ... and I really hope they dont bring back Jack's dad from the dead as that would be tres annoying.

There it is - Skyone have been showing it & Ethan is in it. But he's not coming back, it's just old footage so I don't see what all the fuss is about.
Oh and if anyone knows who the music on it is by, i'd love them forever :]

Yeah, either Patchy or Tom. But I would see Tom as a more important character than Patchy as he's been around longer.
