Its all to do with how systems work and the technologies they use. This encorporates design along side different coding styles like ajax and other data storage such as xml. Web 2.0 is all about changing interaction between the user and the site but clean code has little to do with it since you should always code cleanly.
Its also about creating strict Doctypes to centralise HTML syntax and to stop the huge difference between how IE renders a webpage and how Firefox does.Last edited by Splinter; 29-05-2007 at 04:00 PM.

Its to do with AJAX and social websites: wikis, blogs, flickr ect. Also making it easier to use the page: clean designs, RSS to make it accessable , AJAX to make it quicker and more slick. It doesnt have a meaning as such and isnt anything.
