it would be alot better if you just kept it the same instead of going with the plan of promoting most/all of the normal mods to s'mods.

How will they choose new smods if all the mods are gone :s
Also, I heard smods will have less power.

Smods have less power than who :S?

And no there will be mods which train up and then become smods over time just like we are doing now, thats why the process is slow .

Less powers than the old smods. Like the ones a year or two ago.

So if a smod could do XYZ things last year, the new smods would only be able to do XY things.
    Bad example but meh.

I doubt it, as a big team of SMODS can cover all rulebreaking on the forum imedianlty without waiting for someone with higher permissions.

This also means the forum can easily be trashed. A smod can prune threads, ban users etc.

Smods cannot prune (we have disabled that).

Smods have the same powers they used to have other than the fact thread / post deleting is now not allowed so they cannot delete posts or threads (neither can a few admins).

    Hahaha.

It looks like MAD is trying to improve his image by hiring lot's of popular people as Super Moderators.

Please dont make assumptions like that Undertaker. There has been extensive talk of changing to a primarily SMod team and using the basic mod position as a type of training for SMods for a long time now.
And can you explain to me how Bomb-Head is popular? No offence

Right, so are there gonna be any mods or not?
Smods are never usually picked by how popular they are. Sierk or someone higher than FM usually pick the smods.
I did'nt know sierk or the FM well when I became smod. They pick you depending on the number of mod logs you have and how active you are etc ... kinda explains why mods give out pointless infractions (looks at NintendoNews who gave me a infraction for something admins have done and himself).
