no joke! probably because i only like two genres - why would i recommend something from a genre i dont even like?

one of the genres i like happens to be rap - which she already said she doesn't like therefore im left with only punk. duhhh.

It's the same excuse everytime lol. In most cases the lyrics in rap/hip hop are better than rock! 'Cos atleast most of those lyrics relate to the real word!

middle class white kids can't seem to accept that "the ghetto" does exist, and things do happen just how 2pac told them. =/

A place to spend my quiet nights, time to unwind
So much pressure in this life of mine, I cry at times
I once contemplated suicide, and woulda tried
But when I held that 9, all I could see was my momma's eyes
No one knows my struggle, they only see the trouble
Not knowin it's hard to carry on when no one loves you
Picture me inside the misery of poverty
No man alive has ever witnessed struggles I survived
Prayin hard for better days, promise to hold on
Me and my dawgs ain't have a choice but to roll on
We found a family spot to kick it
Where we can drink liquor and no one bickers over trick ****
A spot where we can smoke in peace, and even though we G's
We still visualize places, that we can roll in peace
And in my mind's eye I see this place, the players go in fast
I got a spot for us all, so we can ball, at thug's mansion

YES CHILDREN ITS A GANGSTA RAP SONG

Nice bit of 2pac there Just wondering if you've heard of Big L. He's fairly unknown but was a great artist(RIP) if you haven't heard of him, check out 'Big L - Ebonics' on youtube. It's a tune & a half and I'm sure you'll like it. He did a pretty sweet tune with 2pac aswell called Deadly Combination. I know you're a big Wu fan aswell, I bought Enter The Wu Tang today! £5, now that's a bargain.

Make sure you check out some of the Wu Tang solo stuff too, everyone in that crew is just genius. Love it.
