    This is my view on it

    Habbox Help Desk should be shut down, or handed over to somebody who is dedicated and wants to bring the Help Desk back to its full glory. I go there once / twice a day, usually peak times and I can safely say 90% of the time NOBODY is in there. When there are people in there it's usually the odd staff member at the back of the room AFK, just sitting in there to make it look like he is doing something. I swear I see Devil.Wont.Cry afk every time he's in there. The staff do jack all, nobody needs help anymore so whats the point in staying staff?

    The reason is for status. Nobody gives a toss about giving help anymore. Why? Because there are Habbo X's, because there is the help tool, because there is the call for help. All official experts and know what there doing, why wait 20 minutes for a staff member in HxHD to un-afk himself / herself when you can go to the Welcome Lounge and get a proper answer. I'm pretty sure most staff members in there are just in it for popularity, or for status. Well for me I don't think its worth it. If you were staff back in 2004/2005 it would of been a different thing. Applications and Reccomendations were earnt, it was always busy, people actually needed help so hiring somebody was a much different thing.

    8freak8 imo has done a terrible job, if he wont hand it down to Bren then I think they may as well scrap it. What's the point in 8f8 owning it when he is barely on, it still has the damn Easter theme from 2 months ago, I seriously get bored the moment I enter it. 8freak8 is grindining Hxhd into nothing. Why does it still say RECS in the room name? And how are people suppose to get rights when the guy is never on?

    I swear, there are 3 people sitting at the front of the help desk talking about some random crap or afk. I go in and comment about how the place is a ghost-town, none of them never reply. I once asked a question as a joke to see if the staff were any good, I said something like "help my habbo keeps disconnecting what do I do", what was the reply? 'Use the help tool, i dont know'.

    In all honesty, Habbox Help Desk officially sucks now. Help desks have died, and your just wasting the time of staff and others by keeping it up.

    Well Yes And No, Yes Because If You Need Help Or Ask A Question They Always Can, And No Because No-One Knows When Recs/Apps Will Be Open.

    Help Desks aren't just about help. If a Help Desk has a good community it's a good place to be to meet new people, and learn new things. Although Help Desks have turned into discussion rooms sort of, the discussion is usually about Habbo (I would know this from Managing HxHD myself, and owning a popular Help Desk) and you do learn new things all the time.

    As I have said in this thread before, yes nowadays less people want help so if you want a popular help desk you need the staff load, because when you have a room with 8 or 9 people (say staff) in, guests start to visit, yes you have boost your room count to get the guests nowadays, they will only go somewhere popular.

    SO imo it's the Help Desk Staff's fault, not 8Freak8s (although some of your points are pretty true) and not Bren.

    They arent dedicated enough to show up very often, so clearly they don't want HxHD to work (or can't be bothered to make it work) and in my opinion these people do not deserve a place on the team.

    That is where Bren's management suffers, the fact that he is too leniant about things like attendance

    It's not the fact that it has because a discussion room now, its the fact its a graveyard. Why not just rename it Habbox Discussion Desk if nobody needs help. I can safely say that a tonne of the Help Desk team would only show up if the Help Desk had people in it. Just so they could act like there important working there, just sitting in the Staff area. I swear none of these people will go in when it's empty and try and get it busy, they will only enter if they know people will think they are "cool" because they work there if you get me

    Give Bren the help desk if he has enough furni to support it or close it down, because the way 8freak8 is handling it deserves the Help Desk to just be shut down anyway. Whats the point of the Easter theme when it was 2 and a half months ago :S

    You are right about staff not going in unless it's popular, it's their job to increase the room count to make it popular. They've been told that and still don't do anything.

    Unless HxHD is going to get a major turn around, you're right... it needs closing.

    Yeah, they wont be bothered trying to get it busy themselves, because they would look like a loner? I don't know how they think. I probaly could read the staff stickies, look them up on console and I bet half of them havn't even logged on in the last week (maybe exaggerating )

    Nah, half of them will be in other rooms
    I sit in HxHD for at least an hour every night probably more, and i've only seen around 25% of the staff list this week.
