Advice on runeecrafting

I am currently level 29 and never really payed much attention to doing it but i want to get it up to 40 so can anyone suggest the quickest way?

Id say the fastest way is air running.
Buy normal essence - 40 each (keep them noted).
Go to world 16 (non-members) at the air alter with an air tally on your head.
Once there say "open 2k + essence" and people will trade you 25 essence (unnoted). Give them 25 essence (noted) + 2k cash.
I think this is the fastest way to do it, although it is fairly expencive but fast. This is the way i got 1-45 runecrafting, hope it helps.

Do airs/minds till you can do fire runes.
Buy normal ess CHEAP
make/buy 20-30 rings of dueling ( dont remember how many i did )
Then get fire tiarra ( And your small pouch if you have )
Go to alkhaid duel but before you get to the gates go north until you find the fire alter. Go in and craft your runes. Then once you do that use your ring of dueling and go to castle wars and bank. Once you get all your ess back out use your ring of dueling to go back to the duel arena
I did this to 44 didnt take long really

I was helping my friend (who was level 1 at the time) runecraft, and the best way we found was airs until you can make fires (which took around half an hour I seem to remember) then fires until chaos. Once there, do the abyss miniquest (talk to the mage of zamorak in level 5 wildy above edge) and do eyes of gloupherie(sp?) and what lies below, they give large amounts of xp. Then chaos to 44 via the abyss and nats to 54, laws forever

Chaos are fairly hard to sell but the generally accepted price atm is 150 each, with ess costing around 80 each these days it generates around a 90% profit, which is far more than fires. Plus, with fires you also have the cost of the duel rings, which can get quite high if you buy enough to get to 44.

My friend crafted chaos from 27 (or whatever the level is) to 44, and it took him around 4k chaos. Using the abyss you can craft roughly 1k per hour using the medium pouch, so 4 hours and about 280k profit isnt too bad.
