For my perspective the management are doing fine and I don't see how you can blame ---MAD--- and expect firing him will help as he is exceptionally good at technical and management sides of the forum, if ---MAD--- was fired, the staff and management system would suffer.
other managers have coped.... why is it only him who makes things worse?

I can't exactly see what he is making worse? I fail to see how his decisions are causing problems for the forum, I'd be very interested to see some of these decisions that you feel are bad.

    what hasn't he made worse?

    1. he fires the best staff
    2. he ignores the majority of ideas members say
    3. he doesn't usually allow freedom of speech. e.g. posting that you're going on holiday when other people start arguements in the thread
    4. he bans people when other people start stuff

I doubt MAD has made the forum what it is. The forum today is what it was like when we had Baving has FM. (The manager ppl liked)

Tony Blair and George Bush were chosen by the people though, when they were chosen they were chosen because they were popular and their ideas were popular amongst the people of their country. MAD was not chosen by the members, MAD's ideas are not necessarily liked by the members. Of course, everyone and everything gets criticism but there is no way you can liken MAD to world leaders.

I agree whole-heartedly. We should at least have SOME say in who the AGM/GMs are, since they are the ones who are going to be telling us what to do, bringing in new rules etc etc.

i personally agree with all the statements on voting for a new GM
we should have a say, because lets face it, without the actual members, this forum would be nothing
