Is saying "I'm off down to ****'s" racist? It depends how you use ****. It could be used in a racist way, or in a normal way.
So you could say "EWW HE IS A ****" - and get infractioned
but I guess you could say "My **** mate is great"
So it could be used instead of Pakistani. I usually use **** instead of Pakistani (in a non-racist way).
Would channel 4 let you get away with saying it :rolleyes_ (The 1 above me)
Gosh let's just unfilter the word ******* while we're at it. (Work it out)
You french fried when you should have pizza'd. If you french fry when you should pizza, you're gonna have a bad time....
GREAT BANTER
Totally agree as I said in the other thread this word is referred to in reference books and dictionarys as being a derogatory and offensive term which isn't the same as say Aussie or Brit. You are right it is no different to the N word. I think the decision should be reconsidered.I think unfiltering **** is a big mistake. Some people could take it in the wrong way and we're in a time where political correctness reigns supreme.
**** is hardly ever used in its right context and will only lead to more infractions and more bans.
It's like unfiltering the 'N' word.
