lol I opened applications once a month.
we had a rota.
Week 1 Open applications for a week, end of the week (over a weekend) do interviews
Week 2: First week of a trial
Week 3: Second week of trial; decisions made at the end of this week.
Week 4: Evaluation of trials and recruitment; attempts to make the next set of trials/recruitment drive even better, possibly open applications earlier
