    yeh. but these goths and ****s that are like ZOMG I LIKE METAL BECAUZE RAP IS **** LOL

    its just dumb. like 60% of my friends like rock and metal. my best friend likes rock but none of them say **** about other music. so it just winds me up.

    2. Yes, only iTunes can decide. Exept if emo is saying their punk. then i get defensive.

    emo is punk.
    it was started by a bunch of people from the DC hardcore scene. ian mackaye of minor threat (whose complete discography album has been voted the best punk album of all time) was in several emo bands. just alot of people have a distorted view that a bunch of eyeliner pop-punk bands are emo.
