i think that you should deffo know wether they're not just using you for stuff.

for me i reckon about 2 weeks is ok to take it more than kissing.

Whatever you're comfortable with really, like you mentioned how you waited longer with your current guy because of his reputation, I'm sure that circumstance does come into it. My last girlfriend we got together basically because we had drunk sex at a party, and when we were going out I realised I didn't actually like her so didn't do anything again, and broke up with her.
