Islam is mainly in the Middle East, North Africa, South Europe and some of Australasia. There is no need for any religious temple, you can pray at home. Or they could use the same church, Christians just choose to sit on benches and Muslims choose to use rugs.

anyway, i'm muslim, and i think that's abit too costy to just build one mosque. the money could be used for alot of other uses, they can simply build a cheaper mosque. but comments like 'build a 100 million church instead' are abit pointless. isn't that the same?

man, over here in singapore, if the government wanted to build a church, a mosque, a buddist or hindu temple, nobody really complains, because we have something called racial harmony over here. we have like, mosques, churches & temples side by side to each other, which is something you rarely see.

That is just a waste. A place of worship does not need to be grand. Yes Singapore has racial harmony. The people of Singapore have learnt well, after the racial riots in the 20th Century. We all live in harmony D
