hxl was down hill as soon as jrh left to take hxr to a new site. as usual hx fire all the good staff / DJ's, coz there's people like bethie (birmz) who would play any time of song you requested, when i tune in it's always 1 type of music. also the DJ's always sound like they've got no balls which is why people tune out coz of the voices.

anyway, when i worked for hxl (february-may) there was a good range of music and there were a good range of genrised shows & everything was equal, but then hxl hired too many djs, in my honest opinion, and too many djs who listen to the same type of music. i can gaurantee that if i tuned into hxl for the rest of the evening i would hear paramore about 20 times. saying that though, when i worked there people would complain but never request. dj's aren't pyschic. if you want your song played, request it. but i do believe the current dj's need widen their musical horizons slightly.

Actually it has nothing to do with where the music is from. When I first started out DJ'en my music was bad quality and it was from CDs etc. Legal music.

I don't know if anyone has realised this but most of the forum want more rock music etc but the people that actualy tune into radios are more of the 'noob' sort and they're more into hip hop , r&b , chav stuff pop / dance etc
If hardcore rock or w/e was played maybe more people from the forum would tune in but a few people from the actual hotel will tune in , I think habbox needs to target the habbo's that actually tune into radios more and will go off and advertise to their friends etc

Dont bloody listein then! You wouldn't watch a TV program you didnt like would you? so dont listein to djs you dont like.

And if you want a certain type of music www.youtube.com listein to all the songs you perosnaly like and then we wont have to put up with you moaning either.

Okay yeah obviously if you used limewire you could get some crap quality music

but i know that music from limewire, music from legal downloads and music from CDs can all sound the same good quality

The encoder makes a hell of a lot of difference so just drop the subject
