    Default DJ's On HabboxLIVE.

Okay, I've got really sick of the DJ's on habbox playing the grunger music, Everytime I visit the radio they always have the same old rubbish on, I've sent in numerous requests but theirs ALWAYS grunger/goth music playing, And I feel its a reason listeners are tuning out, Maybe you could play more chavy, James morrison, You know, 21st century rnb/pop/party music? And maybe you should get a clearer radio sound because not being funny but it seems really poor, Look at Kiss's radio its really clear but habbox is really poor, So maybe improving the music, And the radio itself, It would attract ALOT more listeners.

Edit// Also maybe instead of click on a link on habbox.com and the radio being refreshed, Maybe you should do something clubhabbo do with the pages.

The quality of the radio at the time you posted was actually really good. Some DJs may not have the best quality that they can get with their broadcasters but I'm sure in time they will.

I doubt the quality would be as clear as a professional radio station but I tune in a lot and it is practically always the best quality it could be like on sites like ClubHabbo.

The music played is decided by the listeners and obviously the DJ on air. I personally always play what I would call a wide variety of music and if you tuned in and listened long enough you would see that most of, if not all the DJs do.

If your request isn't played then I would presume that there is a valid reason e.g The DJ doesn't have it, it contains swearing or there are a lot of requests

The DJ on air will play it for you if they have it and if they don't will probably try and get it for you in time for their next show if not play something similar.

I think there's a reason the radio refreshes everytime you change a page if it bothers you maybe stop the radio on www.habbox.com and tune in through www.habboxlive.com. You'll see there that you won't have this problem .

The quality seems fine to me, it must be your computer. And as for the songs a wider variety would be apreciated.

I think this is the trend in young people in general. The emo craze seems to have captured many a prisoner and as a result all the MCR and "grunger" style stuff is being played more often. Im guessing this is not always entirely the DJ's fault because, as you say, requests should be used, but if lots of similar minded people are requesting similar music, the DJ will play it to keep them listening.

In short, unless you can change young people, you're not going to change the music.

Tbh my problem with hxl is their bloody high pitch voices.

And i don't listen purely because i don't enjoy having an 11 year old screaming 'GET DWN TO HALLWAY I FOR PARTTYYY!!!1' down the mic.

    -.-

That is true and songs from artists like MCR are requested a lot. However it doesn't mean that this is all the DJs play. If we completely ignore requests though it ends up in us losing listeners for obvious reasons so if there were a few requests for 1 particular song then it's likely it's going to get played.

I knew someone was going to say that. It reallly annoys me when people make a comment like that. It is a habbo based radio station so you're likely to get someone saying "get down to hallway 1" but I think saying "having an 11 year old screaming down your ear" is harsh. It's blatently just being critical towards the DJs about something that a lot of people would argue is not true.
