Well instead of going to a hosipital, why not ring up your local GP (Ask your mum) and I'm sure she's aware of your phobia and maybe ask her to get him to go a house call.
It might be free on the NHS I'm not sure... Or it might cost a bit...
That's all I can think off and it's your neck, I wouldn't risk that.

How high it is? If you feel there is a fracture, you might have to go to a hospital. If not, just go to the pharmacy to get some cream or w/e to rub.
