There is a safe list, why would you want a scammers list? Just trade people that are proven to be safe. About the thread thing, perhaps if its PROPERLY looked into it could work (super mods+ validate, and anything can be appealed against.. The forum should take into account that it is via them that people are connecting with scammers, so anything that happens as a result of that could have possibly been stopped by them (with the use of something like this), just like it would be habbox's fault if someone got a virus by going on habbox.com What your proposing wouldnt work, could (and definately would) be abused, and would do more bad than good, you should actually think about it, and put forward some good points.. Yes people may have a complaint, but how is complaints against a proposed rule any different from the huge amounts of complains the current rules get?
Habbox is:
an unofficial fansite for a good reason.
unliked for a lot of good reasons.
popular for all the wrong reasons.
probably going to get more popular.
(not supposed to, but probably does) control the general rare values of habbo.
(not supposed to, but definately does) influence people in their decisions on habbo.
For those of us who would like an actual honest fansite practically controlling clubtropica, please do us a favour and stick to habbo. Otherwise, callie may eat you.
Ok here goes.
The rule for not nameing scammers on the forum is becuase you can never really have sufficient evidence to prove that they have scammed you or any one else. Especially thease days lots of software is availiable to enabling editing of screen shots/films etcc.
If we allowed these, everytime someone posts saying whoever scammed them and with a screenshot etc it will cause a massive argument within that thread. Which then leads to lots of rule breaking and members having to be heavily dealt with becuase they will all have taken sides over some pixel Furniture and it will be like a riot basicly.
Another point is that it will lead the Moderation team into pointlessly policeing the goings on in Habbo and runescpae which just creates extra work. As it is not our job to enforce all of Habbos rules and regulations or other online games.

Very well put Yoshi and all correct except that Habbox UK then break their own rule by naming scammers in a unsafe list. Double standards and not satisfatory I dont think.
The approved safe list is satisfactory. If you are dumb enough to be scammed, we don't care how much you sing the dark praises of some evil scammer. Your fault.

I think that you should name scammers. I put the thing that Pycan has in his sig in mine because I agree
Edit - I will do it after I can find out why when I copy and paste it in my sig a link comes up instead..
