Haha, I have read that about 4 times (on the VATSIM site, once on here.) and I still don't remember it I may just print it out then refer to it when I don't understand something, or don't know what to do

"Plug-in" as it's called in our terms to a frequency on VATSIM.

Just kind of plonk your plane in a remote part of an airport with ATC, send a little private message to them asking if you can just stay there and listen in - They'll say yes and just listen to what people say - Thats another way that I learnt.
