i actually don't like pyramid song so much. i dont understand it's reputation. but radiohead is depressing if you take it informally. but if you get used to the sound, which i guess a lot of people can't, it's much prettier than it is depressing. they've got better slow songs, like "how to disappear completely" or "motion picture soundtrack"

i agree, haha. i never understood it either. they do have a few very very dull songs. i'd categorize pyramid song with sail to the moon. usually their singles are really good though.

their lyrics are no more depressing than most band's, its just the way they present them. there was a pretty funny interview on jon ross where they were talking about how they're perceived as depressing.
