Haven't been online in a while, but I got my results over the phone..so was a bit iffy about someone else reading me my results.

    English lit: A
    English: B
    Chemistry: C
    Physics: C
    Biology: B
    French: B
    History: A
    Geography: B

Overall, I'm pleased with what I got, as I expected much worse in certain subjects, like the ones I got C's in because they're on the ones I dislike^^

if you're french is like my french course, its so easy. we arent doing the writing exam, we're doing coursework instead of it. so we only do the reading exam and the listening one. you cant revise properly for them, only things like basic grammar and kinda complicated things

    Thank youuu

Yep 6th Form next year.. kinda looking forward it.
I'm thinking of taking biology, chemistry, maths, further maths + 1 more (which I have to think about)

Soka, you should get a remark for your science..it costs some money but if it gives you the chance of getting 2 more A*s you might as well do it.

Congrats to everyone else who got results and good luck to everyone taking their GCSEs next year.:eusa_danc

Remarks can lower your results aswell.

But if it does go lower it wouldnt change his grade because they cant mistake that many marks. Theres a higher chance the marker will be more generous to you and find the mark you need somewhere

true, but to get a* you need 540 UMS, mine was 539 UMS and for A you needed 480, and it would be like impossible to drop 59 UMS but very highly more likely to gain one.

i think im gona try this jparmar, you got any idea how i do it ? my exam board is OCR do i contact them or my school? thanks
