Check this out, seems like whip is better.

Godswords Stats:
+132 slash +132 str
Whips Stats:
+82 slash +82 str

seems like its no contest right? nope, not by a longshot
Here is the most common bonus giving items that players wear: berserker helm +3 str, glory +10 slash +6 str, spikey vambs +2 str, climbing/rune boots +2 str

Godswords stats:
+142 slash +145 Str
Whips Stats:
+92 Slash +95 Str

Still a slight difference, but remember whip is 1 handed and godsword is 2 handed. most common shield is a rune defender +19 slash, +5 str

Godswords stats:
+142 Slash +145 Str
Whips stats:
+111 Slash + 98 str

Still not much difference, but it adds up, but here is the killer, Godsword ranks only 4/10 on speed,while the whip ranks a 6/10 on speed, whip is 1.5x faster.

Now this isnt the real stats, but what the whips stats would look like compared to the godswords, just to be able to show the difference easyer

now some may say "that was noob stuff on" well yeah, but if it was all the best stuff heres what it would look like (str bonus)

Now add the SPeed

yes. timesing 53 by 1.5 adds more than timesing 16 by 1.5, do you see how that works? lol

also some may say the prayer bonus... well yeah, but think about the extra bonus for the shield, does much better than the prayer.

Also the spec, yeah, whats stoping the whiper from whiping out a dds for the spec? thats much better than the godsword spec.

erm dude, you dont et weps just for damage per min, u get for max hit, max hit can own in wildy and the specs on the godsword you fogot to include, godsword owns as it can hit 75..
