i dont think anyone keeps records of people being top of the league, only if they win it? but, if it is the first time, im sure someone on telly or on the liverpool website would of said something about it but, i havent seen anything so your wrong. and, ive just asked my dad and he said we was last top of the league in around 2000. so i rest my case
