Dude, give up. First you say 'most teenagers would rather play GTA' now you're saying 'mostly children play Mario Kart'. These are not facts, they are more like your opinions. You don't know 'most teenagers' or 'most children'. You can't possibly prove that what you say is ture. Also, read this thread again. Proof? Because I highly doubt that is true. Wii was sold out EVERYWHERE when it came out in the UK and is still hard to get hold of. PS3 is always in stock and not selling much at all.

Neversoft basically sums up everything I wanted to say.

To get back on topic, I think the Wii can be either really good or really bad. It all depends on game selection. On one hand there's the half-assed ports with rushed controls, movies being recreated as games with awful controls and so on. Then there's games that use the controls perfectly and show Wii's true potential. I think Mario Galaxy will be the defining game of Wii's generation and will change some people's perspectives.

I mean a child can't get their hands on a gun, unless of course their parents own it, but a 15 year old can. GTA effects teenagers just as much, if not MORE, than children.

And I would much rather play Sonic, Mario, Zelda etc
than any adult game. Their plots bore me, and isn't the reason I game. It's to get AWAY from reality and do impossible things. Shooting someone isn't my idea of impossibility.

Wii is easily fastest selling.

It acheived 1 million units sold in the UK alone in 38 weeks, 11 weeks quicker than the PS2 did :]
