    So it's just bits of meat that can't be cut off, so it has to be pressure blasted off?

    If so, then what's wrong with it? Apart from it could contain BSE or whatever..

    BSE causes a fatal brain disease in humans :rolleyes:

    I hadn't heard about Mechanically recovered meat in about 5 years, I doubt there is anything to be worried about any more.

    the hot dogs in tins are mechanicaly recovered meat says on label and thy are still lush
