I don't regard previous experience as a strict proof of existence as of now, so the character of the discussion does change some what. When I say previous experience I don't mean simply being good at that role, I mean a loving, but unclear, awareness of some object which irresistibly seems to the experiencer as
transcending the self, something transcending all the other dj's of experience, something that can't be pictured or done by anyone else.

I almost class it as a sin to just come through the whole ranks to take up a senior role within HabboxLive, it's not like JRH has a "living existence of importance of his works" to prove his almighty skills. I think that JRH needs to step back and let ,jess, run the department alongside him as she has more experience of the now. It's essential you understand the logic of the now experience rather than the old experience.

If you go to uni now and learn computer science, by the 3rd/4th year of your degree half of the info will be out-dated therefore you wont be greatly up to date, and that can be put into context here with a old manager at habbox.

I would expect Habbox to know better about that, as I think MAD has a few brain cells more than a few of the AGM's here at habbox, which in anycase could mean MAD has 3, or more than likely. Maybe missing a few Neurons or Glial cells.

No lets just hire power hungry people with virtually no experience in Admin and moderation who actually do not give a monkeys about Habbox at all but who are expert at bum licking and treading on people to get to the top shall we? I cannot think of anybody more qualified than James. Habbox is lucky to have him and I am sure people can learn from each other.

Anyway back on topic and congratulations on your promotion Adzeh. I feel that perhaps Articles and News could be a lot less superficial and connect with the members more. Perhaps the subjects could be broadened so that the members actually can't wait to read them! More planning and research to find out what the members would be interested in. The writers are good its just the content that could be spiced up a bit.

Also a lot more attention to be paid to HabboxWorld and the departments should treat it equally. Joshuar has been working his hardest and has done a great job but it needs the support of the whole of Habbox.

I think Management need to get involved with actual Habbo more if you get my drift. I think Habbox is fading out because I guess were a bit old fashioned, I can't explain it well. But you see popular fansites like CH and Habsie etc all have active management and promote there fansite on Habbo and that's why they're active. They do competition's together, proms, daily habbo things whereas it seems the management of Habbox is scarcely seen. A good example could of seen Habbox in the resorts competition as a fansite, that would of been great.

The only thing on Habbo I can really see attracting members are the rare values, since the Help Desk is getting Habbox nowhere, and I can't comment on the events department nor Habboxlive.

+rep Catzy, very helpful, and to all other helpful posts . Thanks alot.

Ok guys since we have a pretty large number of replies, featuring comments from a lot of people from a lot of different groups, I think I can use this thread as a rough microcosm (sample) of the Habbox visitors' concerns.

From what I can see, the major areas you feel are letting us down (and I agree with quite a few) are:
    • Rare values: Frequency of values
    • News + Articles: Nothing particularly appealing about the content / Opinions of visitors need to be gathered
    • HabboxWorld: More promotion needed
    • Habbox(Forum + Live?): Skins and designs need changing
    • HabboxForum: More education on application of rules needed for moderators
    • Management: Physical presence needed on Habbo from all departments to promote individual areas, and the whole, of Habbox.

If I have misinterpreted anything, please let me know, otherwise continue posting your concerns .

Maybe get a steady assisnt and manager for each department to help them run smoothly and efficently.

Hire a lot of staff in departments to keep the quantity and perfomance up.
HabboxWorld needs to average OVER 25 users a day hopefully by the end of the year reaching 50+ ?

Perhaps international staff like international Djs could advertise HabboxWorld too and maybe run competitions.

That's what I sometimes do, as I'm a Habbox eXpert there.

You've got most of the points, can't wait to see some further sexyness added to Habbox!

    Good luck,
    Grig.

to add to the posts about HxHD,

I think the department name should be changed, and Called HxIC, or something like that, and just make it a information centre for the whole of habbox, as well as habbo and computer related help

I think to change the name of the desk, would just totally remove it from Habbox all together.

The phrase "HxHD" is one of Habbox's most prominent legacy/history type thing, and, along with the rare values, has been there since basically Habbox started. When you think Habbox, you think Help Desk, Rare Values, Forum as it's main attributes.

I would still stand by the HxHD and simply put its apparent popularity problems down to inconsistent advertising, more than anything else. The old Habbox sites used to contain pages and pages of stuff on the HxHD, as well as banners + adverts all over the place, since HxHD was Habbox's biggest selling point alongside rare values. I am hoping to help work on reintroducing this .

I don’t usually disagree with you Tom but what you said about James isn’t really fair. I agree that people shouldn’t get jobs without working hard for Habbox which allot of people have done, including myself but not when it’s people like James. He basically created Habbox. If it wasn’t for him there would be no forum or no radio. He was the original owner of HabboxRadio (HabboxLive) and he was also the original owner of the forum as well as Assistant Site Manager. I couldn’t think of anyone better to take over the HabboxLive Managers post, he’s like the Wayne Rooney of fan site radios!

    What needs improving?

I agree with Rosie about the news and articles and someone said that we should bring back Habbox TV, I totally disagree! Habbox TV was dead for well over a year, ever since the almighty Bi!!y left it. (He was a legend) closing it down was the right thing to do imo, it was just a waste of Sierks money. I also disagree with the people who’re saying that you should remove the Help Desk as it’s part of Habboxs history. All it needs is someone who has time to run it and doesn’t have like a billion and one things to do when he/she comes online.
