[Adzeh] Your views on the Habbox Departments

Hey guys,

As most of you who use the Feedback forum will be aware, I have let go of my job as HabboxLive Manager and was offered the position as AGM which I took on .

My responsibility as Assistant General Manager is in short, departmental productivity, which simply entails my keeping tabbs on all departments and department managers, offering advice and feedback to both, and generally maintaining and/or improving the standards Habbox currently has.

Its all well and good for me to just go and blitz every department that I think isn't doing as good a job as they could, but if I'm working on the wrong departments, then it is a complete waste of time.

So before I do anything, I'd like to get a clear idea of where you think Habbox is currently struggling, and more important, why you think so.

Now obviously this thread needs a fair amount of maturity, and I don't want to have to end up closing it, and be no closer to understanding visitors' views, when we get a load of people saying "blah blah, Habbox is rubbish, because blah blah blah. This manager is a total n00b blah blah". Insulting / derrogatory posts are not what we need .

What we do need, is something along the lines of "I think ... isn't doing too good because... which means that... but I think if you do... it will make it better".

So, this is your chance to help me help yourselves . But if you can't be constructive in your criticisms, then I don't want to know what you have to say; simple as that.

A rule (only for this specific thread) has been added to keep this thread clean and flame-free. You may not comment or allude to any specific members of staff, please make comments on departments as a whole, not managers, and not individual staff members. In my personal opinion, I would like the Rare Values to be updated more often than they currently are; since they're Habbox's main attraction.

devil.wont.Cry was rude. Made pointless posts and also gave out pointless revenge reps.

When hiring managers choose people who have been in the department rather than people who are old school habbox members (jrh2002), more of a management department concern. It is all great having experience, but experience without putting the hard work in before that is not all that great.

I don't regard previous experience as a strict proof of existence as of now, so the character of the discussion does change some what. When I say previous experience I don't mean simply being good at that role, I mean a loving, but unclear, awareness of some object which irresistibly seems to the experiencer as
transcending the self, something transcending all the other dj's of experience, something that can't be pictured or done by anyone else.

I almost class it as a sin to just come through the whole ranks to take up a senior role within HabboxLive, it's not like JRH has a "living existence of importance of his works" to prove his almighty skills. I think that JRH needs to step back and let ,jess, run the department alongside him as she has more experience of the now. It's essential you understand the logic of the now experience rather than the old experience.

If you go to uni now and learn computer science, by the 3rd/4th year of your degree half of the info will be out-dated therefore you wont be greatly up to date, and that can be put into context here with a old manager at habbox.

I would expect Habbox to know better about that, as I think MAD has a few brain cells more than a few of the AGM's here at habbox, which in anycase could mean MAD has 3, or more than likely. Maybe missing a few Neurons or Glial cells.

Anyways, I think the HabboxLive needs a new layout, Maybe have a vote on which one you like the best before coding/or putting on site

And the rare values needs alot more RVR :eusa_wallIt needs to be updated everyday atleast.

In my opinion I want to see more promotion of the international (Habbox World) department. I think graphics department could do with a face list.

That's mostly it cause Habbox rock tbh .
