I'm going to leave this thread open for another day or two and by then we should have basically exhausted the majority of comments, and should be able to start building a much wider picture of what needs to be done.

I think perhaps a warning should be put on the Habbox website and on stickies in the room, however you still have the morons who say it's a sites fault.

We could give it a go, I agree. I think it would be a nice thing to have although people will blame Habbox if the dealer scams when there is usually very little one can do when it comes to casinos.

In the VIP competition that is currently running, there have been 6 entries. I know there are far more than 6 active VIP members on the forum. The demand for it doesn't appear to be there, and without a large number of willing participants there isn't a good reason to make the competitons more frequent.

Could you say what you want from VIP competitions and what you think would encourage members to enter?

The way some department are run need thinking about, it seems that as soon as someone is fired/quits then someone else is moved up to replace them, this means that sometimes new staff members get higher than some other staff ever managed, eg the RV department, when a load of people left after the unfair firing of Dan lots of staff were sent to really high ranks before they were experienced. This also happened more recently with a load of mode being moved up to s-mods before they were ready.

The obvious solution would be to not try to instantly replace people when their position becomes available, just leave things as they are until someone shows they are capable for the position.

Regarding the HelpDesk going uphill??? It's going downhill. 4 months ago I worked there and we had more people in there then we do now. Keep the helpdesk, it is also a nice place to hang out.

As Alex said, there really isn't very much of a demand for VIP Competitions. However, in the future we plan to have at least one per month -- I have noticed that there haven't been consistant Competitions in the VIP section, but hopefully the new VIP Competitions Staff will have more frequent (and inventive) Competitions

Or hire Casino Moderators who are trusted Habbox staff and make sure atlest one is in there at all times and they have a list on forum of who has dealer rights and then the mods let them in..

Clearly you haven't visited it regulary since you left then. About two months ago it was 'dead' but in the last two or three weeks it has gained popularity and is busy most nights at peak time. I suppose you wouldn't know that mind.
