Still doesn't stop them being a major distraction to other drivers, plus your insurers wont accept it as it's illegal and your policy will most likely be void.

"This is Ford country and on a quiet day you can hear the Vauxhalls rusting."
I didnt know they were illegal, thats crap,
I seen someone driving through the town were i live with them on :/
Yeh and people with full beam on aint a distraction either?
Insurers dont need to even know about it "Insurers m8 i jus put some neons on ma car if i crash pay me 20£ for them pls?" l0l
I wouldnt tell them anyway i only telling them bout cobra seats an sub thts it not neons its pointless.

correct me if i'm wrong but i think the changed the law slightly so that you are allowed them but it must be certian colours and not flashing (unless parked) and there musn't be one in view at the back or frount.
yh but even if the car is parked the flashing neons would still distract passing drivers surely?
and btw im not arguing for them to be illegal lol i wud prefer it if they wernt.
2992reps,
Not rly if they flash its like they are hazard lights.
They ent allowed to be flashing red or blue [the colors of the emergency services light]
Not rly bothered if u get caught u dont get any points from ur liscene from em.
